Job Summary
The Production/Build crew member assembles stud cavities for precast concrete walls: Styrofoam, galvanized metal, metal rebar, window and door frames.
Essential Job Functions and Duties
Performs a variety of production tasks:
- Builds in the most efficient way
- Fills orders within acceptable lead times
- Ability to read build prints
- Participates in window and door installation
- Participates in the assembling of wall studs using Styrofoam, galvanized metal and steel rebar
- Meets set pre-established production quotas: both quantity and quality
- Maintains a clean work area, picks up all tools and equipment, and secures work area each day to eliminate potential safety hazards
- Performs other duties as required
Safety
- Ensure all safety policies are enforced, all training is up to date, and all equipment is guarded and well maintained.
- Keep all safety training and maintenance documented.
- Keep open communication with all Team Members regarding safety issues.
Job Skills & Abilities
- Understand verbal and written instructions in English. Ability to read and write in English. Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish also preferred.
- Identify issues and find possible solutions
- Commitment to the highest safety standards and promoting a zero-incident culture.
- Ability to read a tape measure to the nearest 16th of an inch.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma/GED
- 2+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment (concrete, precast, or construction materials preferred).
