Position Overview
Lift King Products is seeking a dependable and skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team in Bad Axe, Michigan.
In this position, you will help manufacture high-quality, innovative equipment for the automotive, collision repair, commercial truck, fleet, and industrial service industries. This is a hands-on role that requires welding, basic fabrication, power-tool experience, attention to detail, and pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate components used in automotive and collision repair equipment
- Perform welding, cutting, drilling, grinding, and basic fabrication
- Operate power tools and manufacturing equipment safely
- Read and interpret instructions, blueprints, schematic drawings, and manuals
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Follow established production procedures and project requirements
- Adhere to all workplace safety policies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work independently while contributing to the overall production team
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Qualifications
- Welding, cutting, drilling, and fabrication experience
- At least one year of welding experience is preferred
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities
- Willingness to work overtime when production needs require it
Schedule
- Full-time, in-person position
- Regular schedule: Monday through Friday
- Occasional Saturdays may be required
- Extended shifts of up to 12 hours may be required during high-production periods
Compensation
- $15.00–$20.00 per hour
- Starting pay is based on experience and qualifications
