HVAC Service Technician
$25–$40 per hour, based on experience
Full-Time | Greenville, MI / Greater West Michigan
Take-Home Service Van | Dispatch From Home
Are you an experienced HVAC Service Technician who believes customers deserve honest options — not high-pressure sales tactics?
At Russell Plumbing & Heating, we believe a great service technician does more than fix equipment. They diagnose the problem, educate the customer, and help them understand their options.
Sometimes a repair is the right choice. Other times, replacing an aging or unreliable system is the better long-term investment.
We expect our technicians to recognize those opportunities and confidently discuss repair, upgrade, and replacement options with customers. What we don't believe in is pushing unnecessary equipment or recommending replacement simply to make a sale.
Our goal is simple: give customers honest information and professional recommendations so they can make the best decision for their home, comfort, and budget.
We're a locally owned and operated company serving Greenville and the surrounding West Michigan communities, and we're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.

We Believe There's a Time and Place for Selling
We're not an anti-sales company. We're an anti-pressure company.
There are times when repairing a system makes sense, and there are times when putting more money into an aging or unreliable system doesn't make sense.
We want technicians who can recognize the difference.
Your job is to diagnose the problem, educate the customer, and confidently present their options. That may mean completing a repair today, recommending an upgrade, or starting a conversation about system replacement.
We believe the best sales come from earning the customer's trust — not from pressuring them into a decision.
If you're looking for a company where you can use your technical skills, make professional recommendations, and build long-term relationships with customers, we'd love to talk to you.
