We are seeking a dependable and motivated Commercial Building Cleaner to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and presentable commercial facilities for our clients. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while providing professional service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain commercial buildings, offices, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as necessary.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Properly use and care for cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Report maintenance concerns, damages, or supply needs to a supervisor.
- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with clients and coworkers.
- Perform other cleaning-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation to and from work locations.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties for extended periods.
Work Environment
This position may require working independently at various commercial locations. Employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance, follow safety procedures, and provide consistent, high-quality cleaning services.
Compensation
$20 per hour and scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.
