Fast paced Exposition, Convention and Conference Center seeks a skilled, experienced Electrician of at least the Journeyman level. Electrician will be responsible for all electrical services for exhibitors, including temporary wiring of exhibits and displays as well as general wiring and electrical services for facility operations. Responsible for other utility services within the facility and grounds, including water line hook-ups, Internet hook-ups, air compressor hook-ups, as directed by customer orders. This position would also handle electrical needs for specialty events and special projects. Flexible schedule based on Facility's shows and needs.
Required Skills:
- Applicants must be licensed within the State of Michigan, of at least a Journeyman level.
- Ability to communicate professionally with exhibitors, promoters, employees, and customers of the facility.
- Ability to direct a small and capable crew.
- Proficient with computers, email and ability to learn facility's event booking software.
