Injection Molding Press Operator

Schedule: 7 AM – 3 PM, 3 PM – 11 PM & 11 PM – 7 AM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $16.00 / hr with $.50 shift deferential for 2nd & 3rd

Michigan Plastic Works is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Injection Molding Press Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating injection molding equipment, inspecting finished parts, packaging products, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines.
- Inspect molded parts for defects and quality concerns.
- Trim, count, label, and package finished products.
- Complete production counts and required documentation.
- Report equipment problems, defects, or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Assist with other production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine-operation experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math, counting, and recordkeeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Applicants must be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, bend and reach, and lift up to 50 pounds. Required personal protective equipment must be worn while working near production machinery.
