As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life. Your compassionate care and dedication will help create a positive environment for residents and their families.
What You'll Do
Provide direct resident-centered care under the supervision of a licensed nurse
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while encouraging independence
Monitor, obtain, and report vital signs and changes in resident condition
Answer resident call lights promptly and provide timely assistance
Offer emotional and social support to residents and their families
Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment
Communicate important resident information during shift changes
Collaborate with residents to support personalized care plans and daily routines
Train and mentor newly hired CNAs as needed
Report resident and family concerns to the nursing team
What We're Looking For
A current, up-to-date resume
Current certification through an approved State of Michigan CNA training program
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow verbal instructions and make sound observations
Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional demeanor
Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and other departments
Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and dignity
Ability to meet compliance requirements
