Aptiv seeks Vulnerability Analysis Engineer in Troy, MI.

Duties: Help oversee the intake and processing of new products, including the management and maintenance of Bill of Materials (BOM) content. Administer the scheduled distribution of monthly and quarterly vulnerability management reports to customers. Develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities from hardware and software attacks, document security requirements and support process improvement initiatives. Conduct detailed technical analysis of triaged data from Threat Intelligence and escalate pertinent findings to the Incident Handler for further action. Facilitate communication and exchange information with law enforcement, government entities, and regulatory bodies. Enhance and refine processes, procedures, and training programs specific to vulnerability management. Coordinate and refine the procedures for handling vulnerability alerts from Aptiv’s network of suppliers. Work with Cross discipline teams Systems/Pen Testing team on hardware based attacks such as side channel analysis attacks, Fault injection attacks etc. Follow legal advice diligently and strictly comply with communication protocols relevant to the role. Act as the primary PSOC representative for product teams, providing guidance on the use of vulnerability management tools. Engage in and contribute to the Auto ISAC, FIRST, and various other technical colloquia as required.
