Summary of Position
The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of materials, tooling, equipment, and finished products to and from customers, vendors, and company facilities. This position also supports receiving operations, material handling, and shipment preparation to ensure the efficient flow of inbound and outbound materials while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service.

- Safely operate company vehicles to complete scheduled pickups, deliveries, and material transfers
- Load, unload, inspect, and secure materials for safe transportation
- Support receiving activities, including unloading, organizing, staging, and moving incoming materials
- Assist with pallet wrapping, shipment preparation, work orders, and material movement as needed
- Verify shipment contents against shipping documentation and maintain accurate delivery records
- Inspect vehicles before and after use and report maintenance or mechanical concerns
- Ensure compliance with applicable traffic laws, company policies, and transportation regulations
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Provide flexible support across shipping, receiving, and transportation functions based on operational needs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two (2) years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Valid CDL/Class A or Class B license required, as required by business needs, with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass required background screening and DOT/MDOT drug screening
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
Work Environment
The working conditions described below are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this position.
- Primarily works in a manufacturing environment operating CNC machining equipment
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment, airborne particles, machine coolants, vibration, and moderate to high noise levels
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday
- May be required to lift and move materials, parts, and tooling in accordance with company safety guidelines
- Overtime, including evenings and weekends, may be required to meet production schedules and customer demands
- Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures is required, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). Safety glasses with side shields are required at all times in production areas, and safety-toe footwear is required.

- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee may be required to sit for extended periods, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl while accessing manufacturing or production areas.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Special Requirements
This position requires compliance with U.S. Export Control regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants must meet the applicable “U.S. Person” requirements as defined by ITAR.
