Ability tomaintaina professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Reasonableaccommodationmay be made to enable individuals with disabilities to performtheessential duties.\n\n * Modifies and/or adapts the K12 curriculum in alignment with the state's content standards to meet the unique needs of each student;\n\n * Collaborates with general education teachers to meet the goals of the targeted students through individualized and small group sessions;\n\n * Educates parents on various instructional strategies;\n\n * Ensures the implementation of the RTI instructional system to increase student achievement;\n\n * Oversees data collection and progress monitoring at every tier; Uses data to help teachers plan whole and small group instruction; provides guidance to teachersonidentifyingandgrouping students whoneedadditionalhelp;\n\n * CollectsandmaintainsallRTI data (lists of eligible students, intervention plans).\n\n * Serves as a daily resource to school administrators, school leadership teams, and other stakeholders regarding RTI issues.\n\n * Collaborateswithhomeroomteachers, advisors, counselors,andadditionaldistrictpersonnel to coordinate and track Tier 2 interventions.\n\n * Provides ongoing training and support to school/district staff regarding RTI and the implementation of the RTI and data collection procedures.\n\n * Supports teachers in documenting student progress;\n\n * Works with the special education teamtofacilitateeligibilityfor special education;\n\n * Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and/or as required by the school.\n\nREQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: \n\n * Bachelor's degree AND\n\n * Active state teaching license AND\n\n * Ability to clear required background check\n\nOTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: \n\n * Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data, and use it to drive instructional decisions.\n\n * Receptive to receiving coaching regularly with administrators and teacher trainers.\n\n * Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes.\n\n * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.\n\n * Ability to rapidly learn and adapt tonewtechnologiesandteaching platforms.\n\n * Abilitytomaintainteachercertification/professionaldevelopmenthours and fluency in K12systems,programsandcurriculum.\n\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: \n\n * Experience working with proposed age group.\n\n * Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology.\n\n * Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment.\n\n * Experience with online learning platforms.\n\nCompensation & Benefits:Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work,requiredtravel (if any), external market and internal value whendetermininga new employee's salary level.
