Dan's Resort is seeking a reliable and motivated individual, couple, or off-site employee to assist with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our resort property. Live-In Caretaker Position
Housing is provided on-site, and wages are paid in addition to the provided housing. This role is ideal for an individual or couple interested in living at the resort while helping oversee property operations and guest services.
Maintenance Position
Dan's Resort is also considering applicants interested in a separate maintenance-focused position. This opportunity may be suitable for individuals who prefer to live off-site while assisting with groundskeeping, maintenance, and seasonal property upkeep.
Essential Duties
- Assisting with guest rentals and check-ins
- Supporting operation of the boat launch area
- Lawn care and grounds maintenance
- Snow removal and winter property maintenance
- General repairs and property upkeep
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests
- Assisting with guest questions and customer service needs
- Other maintenance and operational duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in maintenance, landscaping, groundskeeping, hospitality, or property management preferred
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Valid driver's license preferred
