Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Janitorial Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized production facility. This position ensures that manufacturing areas, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common spaces meet company cleanliness and safety standards while supporting efficient plant operations.

Role and Responsibilities              

1.       Clean and sanitize production floors, work areas, and common spaces.

2.       Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning 
          products.

3.       Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste according to company
          procedures.

4.       Clean and restock restrooms, break rooms, and locker rooms.

5.       Wipe down machinery exteriors, workstations, and high-touch surfaces.

6.       Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is
          needed.

7.       Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal 
          protective equipment (PPE).

8.       Respond promptly to spills and other housekeeping issues.

9.       Support plant safety initiatives by identifying and reporting hazards.

10.     Assist with special cleaning projects and facility maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

1.       Minimum education requirements of basic math and English skills.

2.       Previous janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.

3.       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

4.       Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals.

5.       Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

Physical Requirements:

1.       Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.

2.       Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise 
          levels.

3.       Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure 
          washers.
