ROBOTICS LINE OPERATOR / TECHNICIAN
Troy, MI Operation | Direct Hire | Full-time | 1st Shift | 1 Opening
ABOUT US — AND WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
We are an automotive parts manufacturer from Spain with more than 30 years in the business, and we are launching our brand-new operation right here in Troy, Michigan. That means we are building this team from day one. You would not be slotting into a line that has run the same way for twenty years — you would be helping to stand it up, shape how it runs, and grow with it as production scales. If you like robots, enjoy solving problems with your hands, and want your work to genuinely matter, we would love to meet you.
SHIFT
1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Overtime may be required as production volume increases.
ENVIRONMENT
Robotic assembly | Manufacturing floor | Fanuc / ABB cells | Standing full shift
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Operate robotic assembly cells and load raw materials at the start of each run.
- Respond immediately to line stoppages by resetting robot faults, unjamming parts, and adjusting sensors to keep the line running with minimal downtime.
- Perform visual quality checks on finished parts before packing.
- Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance (lubrication, sensor cleaning, fluid level checks).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with automated or robotic machinery
- Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues independently
- Comfortable standing and lifting up to 40 lbs for a full shift
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
NICE TO HAVE
- Fanuc or ABB robot experience
- Prior manufacturing or assembly environment experience
- Living in or near Troy or the surrounding Metro Detroit area — a short commute makes a 7:00 AM start a lot easier

This role requires hands-on technical confidence. Candidates must be able to resolve common equipment issues independently to keep the line running.
