SUMMARY: As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for the daily sanitation and deep cleaning of the production room.
Starting pay: $20-$22.00/hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will include but are not limited to the following:
- Clean and maintain the production room using sanitation standard operating procedures
- Perform floor care tasks such as sweeping and mopping
- Use industrial cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean and sanitize surfaces
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols
- Use specialized cleaning products and tools to effectively clean surfaces
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff
- Follow all food safety, GMP, allergen, quality, and company safety procedures
- Clean public spaces such as restrooms and breakroom
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one year residential or commercial cleaning (preferred)
- Ability to follow directions and trouble-shoot
- Ability to work both alone and with a team
EDUCATION:
- high school diploma or GED preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Able to bend, reach, and kneel as needed, possible for extended length of time
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to work in a loud environment (with ear protection)
- Able to climb and work from a ladder
