Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
You will be responsible for operating all parts of the automated conveyor line and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps for customers. This role involves learning how to gauge products, moving materials within the cell work area, and replenishing stock. You will maintain production, quality, and equipment documentation and understand quality alerts, reporting any issues to the team lead. Additionally, you will repair defective or rejected production parts daily and participate in defect analysis and corrective action programs.
Responsibilities
Operate automated conveyor line and testing equipment.
Learn and apply gauging techniques for products.
Move materials and parts within the work area and replenish stock.
Maintain production, quality, and equipment documentation.
Understand and respond to quality alerts.
Report issues to the team lead.
Repair defective or rejected production parts.
Analyze defects and assist in corrective action programs.
Essential Skills
Manufacturing with a minimum of 2 years in a production worker, operator, or assembler role.
Good tenure in previous positions.
Assembly experience in manufacturing.
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Gauge experience is a plus.

The new plant is located in Warren and is transitioning from Oklahoma. It serves as a global automotive supplier for major companies such as Ford, GM, Tesla, and FCA. The facility includes various machines such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. This updated plant is equipped to handle a broad range of automotive components and systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
