Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Operations run from 6:00 AM-1:30 AM, including weekends and overtime as business needs require.
Advantage Technical is hiring a Shipping Supervisor to lead High Cube Center (HCC) operations for a leading global automotive OEM in Brownstown, MI. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced plant environment and knows how to keep material flowing and deadlines on track.
What You'll Do (Job Duties):
Manage end-to-end material flow at the HCC, reporting to the Superintendent and Plant Manager
Directly supervise a team, including mentoring GSR 6 supervisors
Manage labor relations within a UAW/unionized environment
Drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making
Maintain building safety and organizational cleanliness
Ensure dealer shipping deadlines are consistently met or exceeded
What You Bring (Qualifications and Requirements):
Knowledge of, or ability to learn, SAP/EWM systems
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to hold teams accountable
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and reach independent, logical conclusions
Self-starter mindset with a continuous improvement focus and proven dependability
Ability to work outside traditional hours, including weekends and overtime, in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Problem-solving or conflict-management experience a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous supervisory experience in a UAW or unionized environment preferred
