1:1 Caregiver – Ann Arbor, MI
Work Skills Corporation (WSC) is seeking a compassionate and dependable 1:1 Caregiver to provide individualized support for a client in the Ann Arbor area. Shift Availability:
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity.
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, budgeting, and maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment.
- Support the client with community integration by accompanying them to appointments, outings, and recreational activities.
- Use your own reliable vehicle to transport the client as needed. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
- Be comfortable working in a home with a friendly medium-sized dog and transporting the pet to veterinary appointments when necessary.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (reasonable accommodations available)
- A compassionate, dependable, and person-centered approach to caregiving
