Northwest Michigan Works! is seeking a full time RESEA Specialist to join our team in the Traverse City Service Center. The Northwest Michigan Works! Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Specialist supports job seekers who are selected for the RESEA program to provide early, proactive intervention to help unemployed individuals return to work sooner. This position will assist individuals in their career development journey by providing guidance on career assessment, career planning, and job search strategies. This position is integral to connecting job seekers with necessary resources and services to navigate the job market successfully. The person in this position may provide support to job seekers who need to meet the Department of Health and Human Services work requirement for Medicaid.This position is located in Traverse City but will provide services to customers throughout the 10-county region.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Abilities
- Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience: Previous work in education, human services, or a related field is a plus.

organizations.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and motivating customers.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.

Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time salaried position paying $44,000 per year and eligible for the Northwest Michigan Works! benefits package that includes: comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with employer paid premiums; life insurance; disability insurance, employer paid deferred compensation retirement package; paid vacation, sick leave, personal days, and holidays.
