Security Officer (Unarmed)
Pay Rate: $18-$23 an hour depending on Certifications, licenses, education, and experience.
Location: Multiple throughout the state of Michigan
Position Summary
Foxtrot Security Group is seeking professional, dependable Security Officers to provide exceptional customer service while protecting our clients, employees, visitors, and property. Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe environment through patrols, observation, reporting, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Patrol assigned properties on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports.
• Enforce client policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and contact law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Michigan Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening (if required)
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Michigan Security Guard Registration
• CPR/AED or First Aid Certification
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience
Physical Requirements
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
