The candidate will provide outstanding customer service in a busy, fast-paced office. Quality Improvement and Lean thinking are a priority in our clinic. Must be able to work independently and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure. Must have the ability to develop and maintain relationships with patients, faculty, and staff. We are actively seeking compassionate, enthusiastic and patient-oriented individuals who will share in the goal of creating the ideal experience for our patients, families and employees. Work collaboratively with all members of the clinic health center team, physicians, registered nurses, medical assistants and clerical staff in the delivery of care to patients and families.
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Working knowledge of MiChart (Cadence and EpicCare)
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience working within a large, complex health care setting
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures
- Demonstrated record of excellent attendance.

Hours of operation currently at the clinic are:
Monday & Thursday 7:30 am - 7:30 pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Hours for this position: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with rotating evening and Saturday clinic.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
