Starting pay for this customer support position is $21.25, possibly more dependent on relevant experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN PARTS AND SERVICE ASSOCIATE
As a Parts and Service Associate, you will serve customers by providing information and answering questions about ABS' products and services. Your day will hold a wide variety of tasks such as creating spare parts lists for customers, processing customer orders, and answering/routing phone calls. You'll monitor open orders and contact existing and prospective customers to communicate features, benefits, and technical aspects of our products. As an integral member of our customer support team, you'll work closely with other ABS departments such as project management, shipping & receiving, and field service to coordinate and provide the best experience for our customers.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PARTS AND SERVICE ASSOCIATE
- Independent self-starter, possessing a combination of energy, motivation, enthusiasm and persistence.
- Customer centered and detail oriented; exceptional phone, computer, and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, processing time sensitive information from multiple sources, makes decisions and effectively communicates the required actions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Proficient computer skills; CRM/database/Microsoft office suite and on-line communications.
- Use of logic and reasoning in daily decision making and problem solving.
- Two years of work experience in service, parts, or customer support preferred
WORK SCHEDULE AS AN PARTS AND SERVICE ASSOCIATE
The typical schedule for this full-time position is Monday - Thursday from 6 am to 3:30 pm and a half day on Friday with weekends free!
