Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist Job Description
This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory records. You will play a critical part in the supply chain by ensuring materials, parts, and products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.
Responsibilities
Support all activities related to inbound shipments, including unloading deliveries from trailers to the dock using a hand truck and/or forklift.
Handle heavy equipment unloads and segregate inbound material into direct and indirect categories.
Stage material within the facility to support all external teams.
Support the Production Control team with material moves in support of quality inspection, putaway actions, and material issues in support of all production teams.
Provide assistance to employees when preparing outbound parcel and freight shipments through the appropriate Shipment Request form.
Assist the Shipping & Receiving and Production Control teams with clearing out dunnage and removing empty boxes and crates from the inbound dock.
Essential Skills
Familiarity with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
Experience supporting warehouse and production functions within a high-paced organization, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or related industries
Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root cause issues, and recommend solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel systems for work instructions creation
Forklift operation
Knowledge in shipping and receiving logistics
Inventory control
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
