Facilities Manager
What this job involves:
JLL is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with advanced expertise in hard services, critical systems management, and client relationship development. This position is ideal for facilities professionals looking to elevate their career by taking on strategic portfolio management responsibilities while maintaining hands-on oversight of critical building systems. You will support over 2 million square feet of industrial spaces while serving as a key client liaison, reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager and collaborating closely with both Senior and Site Directors to drive operational excellence, strategic planning, and client satisfaction across the portfolio.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Serve as a client liaison for facilities operations, building strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders. Translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable recommendations for client decision-making while responding proactively to client needs and concerns with exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reports for senior management and clients, maintaining comprehensive documentation of all systems, maintenance activities, and operational procedures while supporting emergency preparedness planning and business continuity initiatives.
* Provide guidance and direction to engineering and maintenance staff across assigned properties. Support training and professional development initiatives for facilities teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams including property management, leasing, and project management.
Minimum Requirements:
Eight plus years of relevant experience in property management
Experience managing commercial contracts and budgets
Goal-oriented individual passionate about managing successful teams and maintaining safe working environments with strong vendor management practices
Self-motivated and quick-thinking with creative problem-solving abilities using holistic methods and approaches
Well-organized leader who anticipates future requirements, plans in advance, and stays ahead of deadlines
Passion for excellence with desire to exceed client expectations
Strong people management skills with ability to effectively manage, train, and inspire teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to listen and create maximum positive impact
Professional demeanor with ability to represent JLL in all client interactions
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced certifications in facilities management
Experience managing industrial portfolios exceeding 1 million square feet
Background in critical systems management
Location & Schedule:
Second shift (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM), weekends required.
