Qualifications
- Minimum of an associate degree in Secretarial Studies, Medical Office Administration, or Business
- Typing proficiency of at least 60 words per minute
- Required knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding specific to Behavioral Health
- Working knowledge of standard office practices and procedures
- Knowledge of Federal Confidentiality regulations (42 CFR Part 2) and HIPAA requirements
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently with a high level of organization
- Ability to carry assigned projects through to completion
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff and the general public
