QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior basketball coaching or playing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and youth player development.
- CPR/First Aide certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Completion of all MHSAA and district coaching requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach basketball fundamentals, team concepts, offensive and defensive principles, and sportsmanship.
- Develop players using the academies basketball philosophy and program expectations.
- Maintain student eligibility and communicate concerns to the Athletic Director.
- Communicate regularly with parents, athletes, administration, and the Athletic Director
- Promote respect, discipline, teamwork, and pride in Muskegon Heights Academy.
