A steel manufacturing facility in Warren looking for experienced overnight truck drivers to deliver products to customers. All products will be loaded and unloaded by other personnel, but driver will be responsible for safely transporting material while making the delivery, and insuring loads are secure at all times.
Delivery area is the upper Midwest and East Coast. Delivery locations include, but not limited to, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Virginia, and D.C.Deliveries will include same day out-and-back loads and some overnight loads. Overnights are one day out, back the following day. Drive time and unloading time is paid hourly, and a travel expense stipend is provided for all overnight loads. Occasionally there will be a delivery made the same day that is located in Michigan.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate starting at $27 - $30/hr., based upon experience.
- Travel Stipend for Overnights, per diem reimbursement

Requirements:
- Must have valid CDL A & Medical Card
- Drivers will be required to pay for their 1st DOT Recertification and drug screen. You will be reimbursed after 180 days. All future DOT recertification will be billed to State Building Products.
- Must be able to travel and deliver out of state
- Safe driving record
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Minimum of 1 year current, relevant, driving experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment & random DOT drug &/or alcohol testing
