We are seeking Associate Technicians who will focus on testing for mileage and emission standards. As an Associate Technician, you will demonstrate knowledge, skills, training, and learning ability that you can use in other Engineering organizations. In this role you will handle project assignments with
training and supervision.
Description:
Training on 1st shift, position is on 2nd shift (Training = Mon.-Fri., 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM)
Set-up and perform emission testing on vehicles. (Setting vehicle on test site and driving the test vehicle)
Average day will be conducting up to five vehicle tests
Evaluate results
Recommend corrective actions
Document test results
Learn the proper and safe usage of testing tools
Adhere to safe laboratory practices
Requirements:
Ability to work 2nd shift
High School diploma required - Associates or Trade School Certification is preferred.
Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required.
Natural sense of curiosity and interest in vehicles.
This position requires an employee to be on-site on a full-time basis.
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship leadership skills to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization as needed.
Emerging partnership and teamwork skills and ability to learn from and share knowledge with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
21 years of age or older.
-Start on 1st shift - 8 weeks to go through training (approximately)
-Training- Monday through Friday - 8 hour shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
This role will then move to 2nd Shift, and they work four 10 hour shifts each week:
- Wednesday through Saturday - 10 hour shift, 2nd shift 4:00 PM -2:30 AM
OR Sunday through Wednesday - 10 hour shift, 2nd shift 4:00 PM -2:30 AM

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
