HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Software Developer (Ref# SD724GK).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Under direct supervision, develop and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards. Responsible for the development and support of Healthcare EDI transactions using Edifecs. Responsible for integration of EDI (X12) transactions. Maintain and ensure all processes are in compliance with HIPAA and general data security standards. Monitor various transactions using the existing tools. Review, correct, and reprocess daily errors for inbound and outbound EDI transactions. Provide support during the deployment window and maintain and monitor EDI systems. Support the applications by triaging and providing analysis/resolution for tickets submitted via ServiceNow. Analyze the incident tickets, identify the root cause, and provide workarounds and necessary resolutions. Develop and validate EDI reporting. Support and monitor solutions for EDI environment. Use ITSM background and good understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Release Management. Develop effective Business Intelligence designs based on business needs. Develop, execute, maintain, and troubleshoot complex scripts and reports developed using SQL or other analytics tools. Identify and perform root cause analysis of data irregularities and present findings and propose solutions to leadership and/or customers. Support the designing, testing, and implementation of process enhancements and identify opportunities for automation. Take care of regular production support for implemented products as per their scheduled monthly runs on specific business days. Responsible for SQL development related to EDI. Design and develop applications using T-SQL complex business queries involving multiple tables using joins and sub-queries.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or related experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with EDI transactions and Edifecs. 40hrs/week.
