Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description
This full-time, first-shift General Production Worker role supports shipping operations in a manufacturing environment. You will work Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., helping ensure customer orders are accurately picked, prepared, and loaded for shipment while maintaining accurate records in the shipping computer system.
Responsibilities
Support shipping operations by accurately pulling products based on customer-specific order numbers from the computer system.
Use the shipping computer system to interpret orders and identify all required components for each shipment.
Gather, stage, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all components are complete and correctly matched to the order number.
Load completed orders onto trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment.
Update the database and shipping system to confirm that orders have been processed and are ready for shipment.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other production and material-handling equipment as needed.
Assist with general shipping and receiving activities, including packing, loading, and unloading materials.
Maintain an organized work area on the production floor and follow established processes and procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily shipping and production goals.
Essential Skills
Ability to interpret and follow orders from a shipping computer system.
Basic computer skills to navigate and update order and shipping information.
Experience with forklift operation and pallet jack use in a production or warehouse environment.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including packing, loading, and unloading.
Ability to gather and organize orders accurately for shipment.
Comfort working in a manufacturing or production setting with material-handling equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in logistics, shipping, or inventory roles is helpful.
Experience working in a manufacturing facility or organized production floor.
Attention to detail when matching products to specific customer order numbers.
Strong reliability and ability to work a consistent 10-hour first-shift schedule.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
