Job Requirements
No prior education is needed; however, 4 months of experience in house keeping is required. On-the-job training will be provided. Some weekend work required.
Salary/Wages/Benefits
$18.32 an hour weekly, or approximately 40 hours per week, up to 10 overtime hours may be offered, however are not guaranteed. Workdays are Monday through Sunday, with shifts varying between 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Applicants may be offered more hours than those advertised. The overtime rate will be $27.48 per hour. All deductions from the worker's paycheck will be made as required by law. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages. Any advances will be deducted only with the employee's consent.
The Employer may offer or assist workers with optional housing at a cost of $500 per month plus a one time $200 deposit, which may be deducted from wages only with the worker’s authorization and to the extent permitted by applicable law. Acceptance of the housing is entirely optional. Workers are free to obtain their own housing, and acceptance or rejection of the housing will not affect employment. Optional daily transportation will be provided from and to the worksite.
Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the period of employment covered by the Job Order, the Employer will provide, pay in advance, or reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence costs from the place from which the worker came to work for the Employer to the place of employment, as required by 20 CFR § 655.20(j)(1)(i). The Employer will provide or reimburse daily subsistence during travel at a rate of at least $16.78 per day, up to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts, as applicable.
If the worker completes the certified period of employment or is dismissed by the Employer for any reason before the end of the certified period, the Employer will provide or pay for the worker’s return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker departed to work for the Employer, as required by 20 CFR § 655.20(j)(1)(ii), unless the worker has subsequent employment for which such transportation and subsistence obligations are assumed by another employer.
The Employer will reimburse H-2B workers during the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees mandated by the government and incurred by the worker, excluding passport expenses and other expenses primarily for the benefit of the worker, as required by applicable law.
