Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed
About the Role
We are a small to medium roofing contractor looking for an Experienced Roofing Installer to join our team. This position is for someone who has hands-on experience installing complete roofing systems on both residential and commercial projects.
The ideal candidate understands roofing materials, proper installation methods, jobsite safety, and the importance of quality workmanship. This role requires someone who can work efficiently with a crew, follow direction, solve problems in the field, and take pride in doing the job right.
Responsibilities
- Install complete residential and commercial roofing systems.
- Tear off existing roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces for installation.
- Install underlayment, ice and water shield, shingles, flashing, ventilation, drip edge, and other roofing components.
- Assist with commercial roofing systems, including low-slope or flat roofing systems, as applicable.
- Inspect roof decking and report damage, rot, or other issues to the crew lead or project manager.
- Load, unload, stage, and organize roofing materials on job sites.
- Use roofing tools, ladders, lifts, and safety equipment properly.
- Follow company installation standards, manufacturer guidelines, and jobsite safety requirements.
- Work with the crew to keep projects on schedule and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.
- Communicate any material needs, installation concerns, or jobsite issues to the crew lead or office.
- Assist with cleanup, debris removal, and final jobsite walkthroughs.
- Perform other roofing and construction-related duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous roofing installation experience is required.
- Experience installing complete roofing systems on residential and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of roofing materials, installation methods, and best practices.
- Ability to work on pitched roofs, flat roofs, ladders, and elevated surfaces.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move roofing materials and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in outdoor conditions.
- Reliable transportation to job sites or company shop.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a crew.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and commercial flat roofing systems.
- Knowledge of flashing, ventilation, waterproofing, and roof repair methods.
- Experience with TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, or other commercial roofing systems.
- Ability to read basic job instructions, measurements, and material lists.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
- OSHA or other safety training is a plus.

Compensation
Pay is based on experience, reliability, and ability level. Additional growth opportunities may be available for installers who can take on leadership responsibilities, train crew members, or help manage jobsite production. Bonuses on jobs done exceptionally well.
