Role Description
The Yard Material Handler is responsible for operating forklifts to move and manage heavy materials, including lumber, OSB, roof trusses, floor trusses, and engineered wood products (EWP) within our yard and production areas. Your efforts will be vital in ensuring materials are properly stored, organized, and efficiently delivered to their next destination. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality production processes and timely delivery, working closely with the manufacturing and sales teams to uphold our core values while fostering a customer-obsessed culture of growth and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Experience
- Heavy Lifting: ability to manually lift up to 70lbs
- Familiarity with wood products and their handling requirements
- Adaptability, Familiarity with safety standards, and experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to handle demanding situations calmly and professionally, to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative work atmosphere. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
Working Conditions
