Summary
This position is responsible for assisting with the routine day-to-day maintenance of the Redcoats Softball Complex and facilities. The employee will operate a variety of light power tools to perform maintenance cleaning and groundskeeping duties. The schedule for this full-time job is somewhat flexible but staff must be available to work large scheduled tournaments on some weekends.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:

Keeps facilities and grounds in proper and safe condition;

Cleans and stocks restrooms; officials’ locker room; building; dugouts and pavilion;

Keeps entire complex clean and free of debris;

Mows and trims grass;

Weeds and maintains flowerbeds;

Removes trash from grounds and empties trash barrels; and
-
Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Must possess high school diploma or GED.
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Ability to effectively interact with customers; spectators and sponsors.
General knowledge of recreation and sports is a plus.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be at least 18 years old with a good driving record.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check; physical exam and drug screen.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform manual labor outdoors for an extended period of time.
Able to frequently bend and lift 50 lbs.
