Job Summary
Farkas Excavating & Trucking LLC is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our growing team. We are a family-owned company providing excavation, trucking, site preparation, heavy hauling, and construction services throughout Michigan.
We are looking for team members who take pride in their work, enjoy working outdoors, and are committed to safety, reliability, and quality craftsmanship. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist with excavation and site preparation projects.
- Perform general construction labor.
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment.
- Assist with grading, trenching, demolition, and site cleanup.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Assist with equipment operation as experience allows.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Represent the company professionally on job sites.
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to get to work on time & be ready to work!
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well with others.
Preferred
- Experience in excavation, construction, landscaping, concrete, utility work, or heavy equipment.
- Experience operating skid steers, excavators, loaders, dozers, or other construction equipment.
- Knowledge of basic construction practices.
