Job Summary
Farkas Excavating & Trucking LLC is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. We provide a variety of trucking and heavy hauling services throughout Michigan, transporting construction materials, equipment, machinery, and other freight. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, reliable, takes pride in their work, and is committed to delivering excellent service while operating and maintaining company equipment responsibly. Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial trucks in compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Transport a variety of materials, equipment, machinery, and construction-related loads.

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Secure loads properly and ensure safe transportation.

Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and required paperwork.

Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.

Operate equipment safely and professionally at customer job sites.

Report maintenance issues or mechanical concerns promptly.

Keep trucks and trailers clean and in good working condition.

Represent Farkas Excavating & Trucking LLC in a professional and courteous manner.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Be dependable, punctual, and ready to work each day.
Experience
-
Valid Class A CDL.

Safe driving record.
-
Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).

Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Ability to safely operate and inspect commercial vehicles.

Strong communication and time management skills.

Dependable with a strong work ethic.
Preferred:

2+ years of CDL Class A driving experience but will train the right driver.

Experience hauling construction materials, equipment, or oversized loads.

Experience with dump trailers, lowboys, flatbeds, or other heavy-haul equipment.

Familiarity with excavation or construction job sites.

Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and inspections.
