We are seeking a dependable skilled candidate to deliver and install appliances to residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 26 ft box truck for multi-stop delivery routes and appliance installations in a timely manner .
- Load, deliver, and install household appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, and more.
- Ensure proper handling and loading/unloading of appliances using lift gates and other equipment.
- Utilize handheld devices to confirm delivery and maintain accurate documentation.
- Work with basic water lines, valves, and electrical connections for appliance installations.
- Provide outstanding customer service to builders, homeowners, and delivery customers by addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe, accident-free work environment by following company safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in appliance repair and understanding of schematics
- Proven delivery driver experience, preferably with box trucks
- Background in refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Field service and service technician experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in equipment repair and electrical systems
- Ability to assemble appliances and related equipment
