Degree/Certification:
- A current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification (including deep water) with CPR/AED certification is mandatory.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Lifeguard, you are the frontline protector of our aquatic facility. Your mission is to keep swimmers safe by proactively monitoring the water, enforcing facility rules, and maintaining a hazard-free environment. In critical moments, you will rely on your elite training to spring into action with water rescues, CPR, and first aid.
MAJOR DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Supervise all swimming activities to guarantee a safe environment. spot hazards early, and preemptively resolve safety risks.
- Maintain vigilant oversight of pool area to spot swimmers in distress, swiftly perform water rescues, and enact the facility's Emergency Action Plan.
- Ensure compliance with facility rules and regulations using clear, professional enforcement to guarantee a secure environment.
- Execute emergency medical response protocols, including first air, CPR, and AED operation.
- Execute daily safety and operational checks on all rescue equipment to maintain peak readiness.
- Promptly report maintenance issues and facility repair needs to the Director of Maintenance.

$17.50/hr.
