Sacred Heart Academy
Sacred Heart Academy, located in Mt. Pleasant Michigan, is seeking a 6th Grade Teacher.
Applicants must have a State of Michigan teaching certificate valid for the 2026-2027 school year.
Catechetical certification and participation in the VIRTUS program will be required of anyone who is hired. The ideal applicant will be a teacher who has a genuine passion for teaching in a Catholic school, a high comfort level in managing a classroom of fully engaged learners, a commitment to joyful collegiality, an ability to communicate effectively with parents, and a strong foundation in subject curriculum. Preference will be given to practicing Catholics.
Sacred Heart Academy is a Kinderprep-12 grade school of approximately 440 students. This posting will close when filled. The pay is a minimum of $42,000, depending on experience.
