Coordinate and execute the functional safety lifecycle for embedded automotive applications, ensuring full compliance with the ISO 26262 standard. Support the creation of system-level safety goals and safety case development. Conduct comprehensive safety analyses, including STPA (System Theoretic Process Analysis), FMEA, and FTA, to identify and mitigate hazards in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Establish a Quality Management foundation by reviewing process compliance and ensuring safety-related documentation adheres to internal and industry best practices. Verify safety requirements by reviewing technical documentation and ensuring traceability between safety goals and system implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, process definition, and audit teams to manage safety documentation and progress reports, and contribute to overall process improvements (Kaizen). Utilize industry-standard tools (e.g., JAMA, JIRA, CATIA Magic) to manage safety plans, goals, and track the status of safety activities throughout the development lifecycle. Contribute to safety awareness and culture by maintaining safety documentation guidelines, checklists, and templates, and providing training sessions to engineering teams.
