Position Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented Customer Account & Order Management Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll manage the entire customer order process—from quote to shipment—while serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. You'll work closely with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Shipping to ensure orders are processed accurately, delivered on time, and customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Process and manage customer orders from quote through shipment.
- Review purchase orders and verify product specifications, including alloys, gauges, tempers, widths, and processing requirements.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide customers with order updates, lead times, shipment details, and documentation.
- Support the sales team with quotes, pricing updates, and RFQs.
- Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and order history within the ERP system.
- Prepare required customer documentation, including Certificates of Origin, USMCA, CMRT, REACH, and RoHS compliance documents.
- Identify and resolve customer issues while maintaining strong communication with internal teams.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in customer service, order management, inside sales, or account coordination.
- Manufacturing, metals, automotive, or industrial distribution experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
