Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a busy outpatient cardiology practice. This individual will support providers with patient rooming, vitals, EKGs, cardiac monitoring, chart preparation, patient follow-up, and general clinical support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain vitals
Perform and document EKGs
Apply and remove cardiac monitors
Prepare patient charts and medical records
Process prescription refills and referrals
Communicate test results and follow up with patients
Respond to calls, messages, and portal inquiries
Support providers with clinical workflows

Skills and Requirements
1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
EKG experience
Experience working in an outpatient clinic
Current BLS/CPR certification
Experience with EHR systems Cardiology experience
CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification highly preferred
Holter or cardiac monitor experience
Prior authorization experience
