Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
The Production Associate plays a key role in manufacturing and assembling custom residential windows and door walls within a high-volume production facility. You will work in one of several areas-Shipping & Receiving, Frames, Sashes, or Doorwall/Casements-and will receive ongoing cross-training on different sub-assemblies as you learn and grow in the role.
Responsibilities
Assemble windows and door walls, including accurately measuring and cutting vinyl, glass, and other materials according to specifications.
Repetitively lift, carry, and move materials weighing approximately 10-50+ pounds, depending on the assigned position.
Punch holes into materials using appropriate tools and follow established production procedures.
Strip materials as required for assembly and preparation processes.
Use hand tools safely and effectively, such as hammers and other basic tools, in daily production tasks.
Place flexible glass onto frames with attention to detail and product quality.
Support machine, saw, or welding operations once hired directly (these tasks are not performed while on contract).
Perform repetitive movements including grasping, reaching, pulling, pushing, bending, twisting, squatting, and standing throughout the entire shift.
Stock materials and supplies at workstations and maintain a clean, organized workspace and general production areas.
Follow production quotas and performance metrics in a fast-paced environment to keep the line running efficiently.
Collaborate with team members in sub-assembly work, adapting to varying job duties based on production needs.
Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall production operations.
Essential Skills
Ability to repetitively lift approximately 25-30 pounds throughout the shift and handle heavier loads up to 50 pounds for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment where meeting production targets is expected.
Ability to stand on your feet for the entire duration of the shift (typically 8-10 hours) without difficulty.
Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, and perform other physical movements repeatedly during the shift.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and the ability to safely hold and use tools such as hammers and similar equipment (training is provided on specific use).
Willingness and ability to work in a hot, noisy production environment with moderate noise and temperature fluctuations.
Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance and staying until the job is completed each day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read a tape measure and take accurate measurements for cutting and assembly (nice to have).
Previous experience in production, general labor, assembly, or general manufacturing environments.
Using hand tools and power tools in a work setting.
Experience with packing, packaging, stocking, or lifting boxes in prior roles.
Comfort performing repetitive tasks and following standardized work instructions.

Work Environment
This position is fully onsite in an indoor production facility with temperature conditions that fluctuate with the seasons, ranging from hot and humid in warmer months to colder and drier in cooler months. The space has a garage-like feel, with large doors that can be opened to create airflow when it is hot, and fans positioned throughout the area to help manage temperature. The noise level is moderate, and the building is well lit to support safe and efficient work. The break room is air conditioned, and employees can use it for their morning break and hour-long lunch; coolers of Gatorade are provided for everyone during very hot conditions. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with the expectation to stay until the day's work is finished, typically closer to 2:30 p.m., resulting in an average of 40-50 hours per week. Dress is typical for a production environment, with practical, comfortable work attire suitable for physical tasks and varying temperatures.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
