41 Lumber is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Chauffeur/Material Handler to support daily operations through job-site deliveries, material handling, and equipment operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and representing the company professionally in the field.
Position Overview
The Chauffeur/Material Handler is responsible for delivering materials to job sites, maintaining delivery vehicles, and assisting with loading and unloading products. You’ll work closely with the yard and sales teams to ensure accurate, timely, and safe deliveries.
Key Responsibilities

Job Site Deliveries — Transport materials to customer locations safely and efficiently.

Truck Maintenance — Perform routine inspections and basic upkeep on delivery trucks.

Material Handling — Load and unload building materials with care and accuracy.

Forklift Operation — Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials within the yard.
Qualifications

Valid chauffeur’s license (required)

Ability to lift and move building materials

Experience with forklifts or willingness to be trained

Schedule and Hours
Store hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
- Full-time positions: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays.
