JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. We are looking for a career minded individual who is driven, organized, and enjoys building relationships while also helping to problem solve. Delivering specific items to multiple customers throughout Northern Michigan on a daily basis you are home daily. Previous experience with hauling chained, strapped, and tarped loads and a minimum of 2 years driving experience is preferred. This Night shift position is year-round Full Time (40 hours) with occasional overtime, overtime paid for any time over 8 hours per day. Benefits available after 90 days.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Starting wage: $24–$26/hour, negotiable with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Driving a semi-tractor with a flat-bed trailer loaded with stock structural steel
- Delivering specific items to multiple customers
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and site safety procedures
- Follow best practices for handling heavy steel to prevent injury or damage
- Confirm delivery details, answer questions, and handle any delivery concerns or complaint
- Record mileage and complete delivery logs and complete all paperwork
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience with heavy materials and construction site logistics
- Strong navigational skills and ability to read delivery maps
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy steel items
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict schedules
