Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Associate
Compensation: $16.55 per hour – WEEKLY PAY!
Schedule: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Monday to Friday
Position Overview:
Join our client in Chelsea as a Manufacturing Associate! This is an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity starting immediately. As a vital part of our team, you will play a key role in our success as a metal stamping powerhouse with multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Run appropriate job number according to production schedule.
- Completes visual checks of each part produced to ensure it meets part specifications.
- Effectively apply basic trouble shooting techniques to keep machines operational.
- Use basic hand tools to complete authorized adjustments and minor repairs.
- Assist assembly technician, as needed, during changeover.
- Maintains and updates down time efficiency log, daily production counts, lot control and any other production paperwork.
- Assures that all components and assemblies in assigned area are properly tagged.
- Reports count of and dispossess of all production scrap into the appropriate scrap bin at the end of each shift. Reports discrepancies to supervisor.
Qualities/Skills for Personal Growth:
- Good attendance record.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow clear instructions.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and twist for 8–10-hour shifts.
- Must have wide arm span to move/lift the part.
- Must lift up to 30lbs.
