POSITION 1st Shift Distribution Associate, FFGR – 44th Street Grand Rapids
Position Summary
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for full-time Distribution in Grand Rapids at our 44th Street location. The Distribution Associate reports to the Distribution Supervisor and supports the distribution department by performing shipping, receiving, inventory, and fulfillment functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick and ship products to meet customer demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform daily computer work using Baan, LNCE, Factory Track applications and scanners.
- Support trucks down and expedite requests as needed while maintaining 5S standards.
- Work in Receiving, Inspection, Put-away, Order Fulfillment and Shipping.
- Obtain powered fork-truck certification and safely operate fork trucks, pallet jacks and stock
- Repack products per customer requirements including bagging, labeling, packing and palletizing.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and cycle counts.
- Communicate with internal and external customers.

- Compliance with customer and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No disciplinary actions above a documented discussion during the past 12 months.
- Ability to learn and retain Baan, LNCE and Factory Track applications.
- One year of manufacturing and shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand pick sheets, quality documents and customer requirements.
- Strong dependability and attendance record.
Working Conditions
Production and warehouse environment. Repetitive lifting 10–40 lbs., occasional lifting 60–80 lbs. Stooping, kneeling, bending, twisting, overhead lifting, pushing, pulling, walking and standing for extended periods.
