This position reports directly to the Quality Engineer. Interaction with other members of quality, plant managers, supervisors and production associates is essential.
High school diploma/GED, prefer 1 year experience in related field.
Good problem-solving skills.
Basic computer knowledge (windows operating system, Word, Excel, etc.).
Knowledge of hand held gauging methods, I.E. Calipers micrometers, bore gages, pin gages, etc., is preferred.
Knowledge of CMM operations is preferred.
Detail oriented, strong professional presence.
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure customer requirements.
Required to be highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to use basic gages.
Ability to read and interpret customer prints.
Basic understanding of GD&T.
While performing the functions of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands. This position may require maneuvering or lifting of equipment such as products, tools, gages or equipment.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly works near moving equipment. The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing area where under certain conditions may require the use of personal protective equipment. Employee may be exposed to shop elements such as oil, dust, odors, fumes and noise.
