Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing call center team. In this role, you will handle inbound customer inquiries, provide information regarding prior authorizations, answer general questions, and manage confidential customer information. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Complete follow-up calls as needed to resolve customer questions and concerns.
Answer inquiries related to prior authorizations, account information, and general customer support.
Accurately enter and update customer information in multiple systems and databases.
Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive customer information.
Document customer interactions thoroughly and accurately.
Navigate multiple computer applications simultaneously while on customer calls.
Meet established quality, productivity, and accuracy standards.
Manage approximately 50-100 calls per day depending on call complexity.
Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of recent high-volume call center experience within the last 2-3 years.
Stable work history with demonstrated job tenure.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Typing speed of 30 WPM or higher.
Strong computer literacy and experience using multiple software applications simultaneously.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with prior authorizations, healthcare customer service, or insurance-related inquiries.
Experience using CRM, customer service, or data entry systems.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
