Job Title: Engineering Data Analytics Specialist (Power BI)
Overview
We are seeking an Engineering Data Analytics Specialist to support engineering teams by delivering data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and project tracking. This role focuses on transforming engineering and cost-related data into actionable insights through business intelligence solutions and executive-level reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong Power BI expertise, advanced analytical skills, and experience working with large datasets in engineering or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze engineering and cost-related datasets to identify trends and business insights.
Perform data mining and trend analysis.
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards.
Create executive-level reports and visualizations.
Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.
Track cost-saving initiatives and project milestones.
Support engineering review meetings and status reporting.
Improve reporting methodologies and data visibility.
Develop standardized metrics and KPI reporting systems.
Maintain data integrity and validate data accuracy.
Support cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, product development, and program teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or engineering analytics.
Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, automotive, or product development organizations.
Experience managing large datasets.
Experience creating executive-level dashboards and reports.
Experience developing reporting metrics and analytics tools.
Experience supporting cross-functional teams and project activities.
Strong proficiency with Power BI.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
