Maintenance Technician
This role supports a highly automated manufacturing facility by performing mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment. You will work primarily on modern, cellulose-based insulation production equipment, focusing on mechanical systems, pneumatics, and preventative maintenance, while using computer-based systems to manage work orders and updates.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on industrial machines, including ovens, assembly equipment, conveyors, motors, gears, chains, sprockets, and other automated systems.
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems to ensure reliable operation of production equipment.
Work with highly automated and newer machinery used in cellulose-based insulation production, including interaction with HMIs and screens for machine operation and minor PLC troubleshooting.
Conduct preventative maintenance on automated equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Diagnose mechanical issues quickly and accurately, using strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to restore equipment to proper working condition.
Essential Skills
At least 3 years of maintenance machine repair experience on industrial equipment.
Hands-on experience with mechanical maintenance and repair of automated machinery.
Proven pneumatic repair experience on industrial or automated equipment.
Experience performing machine repair on automated equipment in a manufacturing environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Jenison, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
They are eligible for benefits after the first 30 days on assignment. They also have sick pay which is accrued and up to 72 hours per year. As well as additional PTO and holidays. Full benefit package offered.
